Really nice – This is a great jewelry box. There’s a lot of storage, in fact there’s “just enough” for my large collection of jewelry. The hooks for the chains are on a wooden bar that swivels as you raise and lower the lid. All the edges are nice and flush. There are stops at the back of the drawers that prevent drawers from falling out. The wood color is very pretty. The whole surface is smooth to the touch. Inside the velour is a very pretty creamy chocolate color. There is no “slow close” mechanism on this lid, so be aware of that when you open and close it. The price is great for this jewelry box.

So surprising pleased with this purchase. – This jewelry box is replacing one I have had for more than a decade. I loved the divided drawers,, separate ring holder, and out of the way necklace/chain holder. Wish one of the divider drawers had smaller boxes to more easily separate earrings. Last box had sliding hinges that broke within the first few months of use. I expect this one to be much better as there are few parts to break; the wooden drawers slide on groves and are notched at the back of the drawer to prevent the drawer from accidently pulling out and spilling contents.
