Tips and Tricks for Sizing/Cropping – So this locket is way prettier in person. I bought it for my 6 yr. old niece who had just lost her Grandma. Her Grandma had been like a Mom and they did everything together so I wanted her to have a way to remember her Grandma as she got older. I had initially looked at the smaller lockets for her, but a lot of them were kind of cheap looking and I wanted the locket to be something that she could grow into. I am so glad that I decided to go with this one. The slightly smaller locket’s would have been almost impossible to put a picture into. My niece was instantly infatuated with it and she had me wanting one for myself once I saw it lol.

I bought this for Mother’s Day and wanted to place my children’s photos inside for my mom. I had a heck of a time getting the plastic insert out of the first frame. I had seen videos online prying the top curve, but that didn’t work for me. For those who wonder, I took a tiny flat screwdriver and pried at the bottom corner. Once I figured it out, the second frame wasn’t too hard. For replacing the plastic insert, I inserted the top curves first, then pressed around the edges with my fingernails to the bottom corner.
