If I had any complaint it would be , this pendant could be a wee bit smaller … the beauty of it far supercedes that little issue …I have recieved many compliments …it is truly a work of art .

For My Grandma Who Was Dying of Cancer – Because my grandma is in her 90’s, she couldn’t have chemotherapy for metastatic cancer. They could only give her a low-dose of radiation. I bought her this necklace and told her the scientific story about butterflies and their transformation. In real life, caterpillars go into their cocoon and dissolve into a mush-like substance of proteins and DNA. That substance builds itself into a different form and a butterfly emerges in the spring. She wore it during the days she got low-doses of radiation. Two months later, she is cancer free. No, the necklace did not heal her. But, I do believe that she had hope to hold onto and that hope removed her fear. Because of the mind-body connection, I think it helped her feel safe and that allowed her body’s immune system to work in her favor.
