It smells – Beautiful piece of furniture it just stinks. You smell it for weeks.. I’ve smelled it for a month now. Idk if it the wood or something else but it just has a distinct smell that won’t go away. Not taking away from the structure or anything. But if you are sensitive to smells.. go another route. I gifted it to my daughter and everytime she opens her bedroom door there’s a whaft of this piece. Doesn’t bother her but if I knew this I would have gotten her something different. Especially for the price. But she’s happy I’m happy.. so sad. It’s gorgeous.. it just stinks. Can’t explain it to yall

Hard to line up the holes to screw in while balancing – This was so hard to put together, and as someone who puts together a lot of furniture without complaint, this shocked me. The other reviewers are lying or paid or witches. The genius who wrote or decided the instructions insists you do everything in order. The problem is that you have to lift the mirror/body last, which is the heaviest part, to the tallest part while balancing it next to a (somewhat flimsy) stand you just assembled. The problem is it’s hard to find the hole for the screw to go in, while balancing it against gravity, while keeping a clear washer they supply you with from slipping. I say clear bc a) it is and b) it’s very hard to find on the floor when it inevitable slips and falls down there (often). I tried doing this vertically and horizontally, as well as vertically trying balance part of it on a couch, which all was a pain bc I didn’t have the space. I finally figured it out on the floor but it honestly wasn’t easier vertically-I think I just got lucky on try number 10 or so in total (not kidding). If you live alone-in a pandemic-you will go crazy and regret every life choice you’ve ever made assembling this. And if you live with people, romantic or platonic, you will also regret knowing each other bc balancing this over a flimsy stand with a tiny hole and clear washers that can’t stay put together is a recipe for ruining relationships.

I order the wrong color and reached out to customer service and they changed the color for me with no problems. When it was delivered and I began to put it together it was very easy to do.
