Disappointed – In one word, disappointed. I loved this idea for storage of all my jewelry; it’s one of my guilty pleasures. The quality of the sleeves & compartments is actually really good and would have been great for travel. The problem is the holder; it’s not wide enough once you fill it up. I’ve included pictures to show where the issue is. As you can see, while I filled some sleeves, I wasn’t able to put them inside the holder (pic 2&3) and in a lot of the sleeves, I was only able to fill one side (you’re supposed to be able to fill either side for a total of 4 compartments). So, not only will I not be able to utilize the holder, I won’t be able to fill it completely. I gave it 3 stars bc I’ll go ahead and keep it, since the quality of the sleeves is great and I can still protect my jewelry.

For a gift, hang a necklace or two,fold it up and a bow. Very sturdy. The only thing I wish it would have a zipper or a means to close when folded (some necklaces flow out of the side when not kept flat while folded) however it did not say for travel but I do.
