His last three chapters on the solution are a bit rough. He points to resonance and the interconnectivity of creation as a means of giving people a telos out of anxiety; here, he hints at a religious insight but yet appears to have hostile stance toward it throughout his book. His solutions don’t seem realistic in a world that struggles with envy and self-centeredness. Also, how can one appeal to an intelligent design without pointing to a designer? His amasser of chaos theory seems a bit flat here for me. Overall it is a good book that I’m glad I read, and I will use it as a reference source in my work.
