Once they come in contact with any form of moisture (sweat,water, deodorant, colonge etc) they will change color. You may be able to wear them up to 3 time before changing color.

She loves wearing novelty pieces of costume jewelry often and this is the perfect gift. The enormous variety will give her endless possibilities. The only negative that I could find is that it leaves a lot to be desired in the packaging. It is not elegantly packaged, but it is practical. All the jewelry comes in one large transparent bag. Inside the bag are 8 individually wrapped smaller bags, each containing a group of jewelry. It is actually very well thought out in order to keep these many pieces not only together, but also from tangling.
