So far, better than the snake chain. – After breaking my 4th Pandora snake chain, I didn’t want to spend $65 on yet another one. Pandora does nothing but shrug at broken bracelets. They don’t even give you so much as a discount on a new one. Sigh. Almost $300 in broken bracelets later, I thought I’d try something different. The pros: 1) it seems sturdier than the snake chain, therefore, less likely to break. 2) stylistically, it’s a much cleaner look. The cons: 1) because it’s essentially a solid form, it’s much harder to put on than a snake chain. If you take yours off regularly, you might want to get it slightly larger than a regular bracelet. 2) because it’s a smooth surface, the charms slide back and forth much easier, making a clinking sound in the process. I had to buy another clip charm and some silicone rings (2mm by 6mm donut spacers are perfect) to keep the clip charms from sliding too since the bangle doesn’t have threads to clip them onto. Overall, after 2 months of wear and a few tweaks, I do prefer the bangle to the snake chain, but I’ll update this review if (when) it breaks.
