Used as a first step in cleaning silver jewelry, Good, but not Super Good – I tried this in cleaning a lot of silver jewelry with gemstones. It worked somewhat and I followed up with my ultrasonic jewelry cleaner for another 10 minutes. and followed up with a polishing cloth. It does take off some of the tarnish, but not a miracle worker. I still had to put in a lot of steps to get the jewelry sparkling.

Good-Bye Tarnish – Easy to use for cleaning silver jewelry that has tarnished. After letting Jewelry sit in the solution for a minute or two, I rinse well with cold water and pat dry. Severely tarnished jewelry needs about two or three dippings, I find it does work great.

Questionable Product Efficiency – As soon as I received the product, I tested it with a couple jewelry pieces. First impression was the bad strong smell that came from the liquid, which I was not expecting. Then, after following the 1 minute submersion in the liquid, the jewelry came out exactly the same. The only difference in the pieces appeared after a intense rubbing of the jewelry using a cloth. After the rubbing, the pieces are clean and shining. But to be really honest, I am confused if the result was due to the intense rubbing by itself, or if the liquid helped in a “molecular” level, that I could not notice.
