I keep it on my nightstand and it holds lip balm, eye drops, tweezers, a mini nail file, plus any bits of clutter that collect there until I find an appropriate place for them. I keep the jewelry I wear almost every day here, so I don’t lose it if I forget to take it off before getting in bed and I always know where to find it in the morning. The glass pieces are very solid. The brass lid/tray is designed to nest securely on either glass container. You can’t really stack the brass tray in between the glass pieces —the top of the brass tray isn’t designed for nesting. Overall, this piece is a hit and I think it’s a great value for this particular look!
