Nice, Compact Travel Case: Great for Gifting! – I purchased this to include in a larger Mother’s Day gift assortment since my mother travels a lot; it was a home run. 🙂 I searched all over for a case like this (Tuesday Morning, TJMaxx, Target, Walmart, etc); all they had were large travel cases and soft, pliable make up bags. Nothing pretty, non-plastic, and compact for travel that would protect jewelry. The case is as sturdy as one would expect for the price. The one purchased was one of the the plain ones. I like that even though it has a bargain price it did not feel cheap or look cheap. It has space for multiple necklaces and medium to small rings; earrings and/or bracelets too. In the space next to the rings there is the cross shaped divider: it can be removed if you don’t want to use it. Will definitely purchase more should the need for a gift basket or gift assortment arise again.

Great gift for my teen girls – I have a traveling jewelry case that I’ve had for about 20 years. My mom wanted to get ones for my twin girls but it’s not easy. They are either too bulky or come in a wrapped style that makes it hard to access things like earrings. I wanted something like what I had.

Gift for my granddaughter – My teenage granddaughter is hard to buy for because she has specific likes. I got it because she wears rings. She used it on vacation – she liked it a lot!

Teeny Tiny Very Cramped Jewelry will Scrape – I purchased this for myself to have something to keep my rings in at home and as a traveling case for my earrings, rings, and necklaces. Forget bracelets, I knew they would never fit. So this is 4 in. by 4 in. and 2 in. deep. It has a very wee spot for seven rings to fit and they can’t be very big. One in each row. It has four compartments for rings, nothing else will fit except small stud earrings. Above this is a felt covered cardboard with six holes in it for very small earrings and a small mirror in the center. The top of the case will hold three small necklaces, as in chains or very tiny pendants. The cardboard keeps the necklaces from scratching the rings and/or earrings in the bottom compartment, but if you use the cardboard for earrings they will rub against the pieces in the bottom, making it extremely hard to be functional as a travelling case. You have to chose: Do I want to carry rings and earrings or necklaces and rings; get the picture? So I would not recommend for travel. As far as a case for my rings? I have fifteen beautiful rings and there is not room for even half of them if you care if they touch and scratch each other. Which I do, they are very expensive rings gifted to me by my husband over the years. Three of them are my platinum and 3 carat diamond set which is extremely important to me in that it is safe and secure, which this case does not offer me. So all in all, it is rendered useless to me. Maybe you could find a way to make it appropriate for you, it is very cute, silver with pearl threads in color, with pink felt inside, and a silver zipper to open and close it. It is also not very sturdy…I am not returning it however, I will give it to my granddaughter to use for her small pieces. I think it will make a nice gift for her, but it doesn’t come in a box just in plastic wrapping. It did arrive a day early.
